Terms for YardSnaps landscape design services: pricing, revisions, delivery, what a design is and is not, installation, and the free monthly design draw.
Who we are
YardSnaps is a landscape design and photo-imaging studio based in Atlanta, Georgia. These terms apply to the use of this website and to design work commissioned through it.
Prices and packages
Published prices are list prices. Where a package shows a range, the final figure depends on the size and complexity of the area to be designed, and is confirmed before work begins. A 10% discount applies to projects handled 100% remotely.
The cost of an on-site consultation is deducted from the cost of any design package, with the exception of the Premier and Prime Landscape Snaps.
What a design is, and is not
A YardSnaps design is a visual representation. Renders and photo-imaged overlays show plants at a representative mature size and in representative colour; living plants vary, and growth depends on soil, sunlight, water and care. A design is not a survey, an engineering drawing, a drainage study or a guarantee of plant performance.
Where a design includes structures, hardscape or grade changes, it is your responsibility — or your contractor's — to confirm local permitting, setbacks, easements and utility locations before construction. Call 811 before you dig.
Revisions and delivery
Each package includes a stated number of revision rounds and a stated delivery window, both listed on the package page. Delivery windows begin once we have everything we need from you: photographs, a description of the design needs, and the property address.
Installation
Installation is quoted separately, per project, after the design is settled. You are never required to have us install a design in order to receive it.
Third-party products
Pergolas and similar manufactured structures are supplied subject to the manufacturer's own warranty and lead times.
Free monthly design
One submitted entry is selected on the 15th of each month and announced on the 1st of the following month, with results displayed on our social channels. Entry requires a photograph of the area, a description of the design needs and the property address. The free design is a 2D design, provided as-is and with no obligation on either side.
Intellectual property
Designs, drawings, plans and renders produced by YardSnaps remain our intellectual property. On payment in full you receive the right to use them for the design, construction and maintenance of the property they were produced for. Site content, images and text are ours and may not be reproduced without permission.
